Spring At The Capitol Bookmark
$9.95
In 1941, the American dogwood became North Carolina's state flower. Native to North America, dogwoods are found on the Capitol grounds and throughout the state in spring. The petals of the dogwood are actually leaves, called bracts, which surround a cluster of tiny yellow flowers. The colors of the bracts are either white or shades of pink and stand out against the Doric Columns and pale gray of the locally quarried stones that makeup the Capitol building, a National Historic Landmark.
This exclusive Museum Shop bookmark makes a great gift for your favorite NC reader!
4 in. x 1 in. Made in the USA. Is adorned with a white braided cord.
